• Transformer oil filtration : Transformer Oil Filtration is a crucial maintenance process that removes moisture, dissolved gases, sludge, and solid impurities (particulate matter) from insulating oil. Using vacuum dehydration and filtration technology, it restores the oil’s dielectric strength, improves insulation, and extends transformer lifespan.

Key Steps in the Filtration Process:

• Heating: Oil is heated to roughly 60°C to reduce viscosity and facilitate moisture removal.

• Coarse & Fine Filtration:
  Oil passes through filters to remove sludge and particles (down to 50 microns or lower).
• Vacuum Dehydration & Degassing: The heated oil enters a vacuum chamber where moisture and gases are boiled off at low pressure.

• Final Filtration & Outlet: The purified oil is passed through a fine filter (e.g., 1–5 microns) before returning to the transformer.
